Greetings!
Welcome to Do It Like Palpatine, a blog about SWTOR with a focus on Sith Sorcerors (and those pesky Jedi Sages, too).

First things first.
I'm Beslley, a Sith Sorceror in <Big Crits> on the server Saber of Exar Kun (US). I also play WoW as a warlock (also in <Big Crits>) on Sen'jin (US).
When I'm not balls deep in an MMO, I also enjoy a rousing game of Team Fortress 2. I mainly play on the PC platform but I will occasionally play a 360 or Wii game if I'm in the mood.

MMOs I have played, and how I got into these things
My first MMO experience was Runescape, but I didn't play MMOs seriously until I picked up WoW in late vanilla. I started raiding in BC, and continued through wrath until Firelands in cata, where I hung up my serious raider hat for good. I don't particularly like where WoW is going, but I stay for my friends in <Big Crits> and am hoping to transition over to SWTOR for raiding.

I have played the following MMOs (in roughly chronological order):
  • Runescape
  • Maplestory
  • World of Warcraft
  • Free Realms
  • APB
  • RIFT
  • Dragon Nest
  • DC Universe Online
  • SWTOR
 Why make this blog?
I haven't seen many SWTOR blogs around, and most of the sorc/sage blogs I have seen are heal-focused. As I usually focus on DPS rather than healing, I thought it might be fun to blog about my experiences and provide a resource for people who are interested in playing sorc DPS.
